No matter what the design look you are striving for, no doubt you will be able to find a laminate to fit into your scheme. While there are 1000’s of laminate colors to choose from, there is also one more decision to make. Surface finish. The finish you select can change the look of your table drastically.
We have compiled information to help you and your customer choose what will work best for their space.
Surface Finishes
Each laminate manufacture has little differences in the surface finishes. To give you an example we chose Wilsonart to show the differences. Depending on the laminate you choose, not all laminates come in every finish. There is also price changes in finishes regardless of the color. Each laminate has a color code and finish (7919-38). The finish code, or the last 2 numbers are what determines the cost. Generally speaking, if you are using a Wilsonart laminate, -60 & -38 are standard pricing. A -07 is a Premium 1. If you are using a Formica laminate, -43 and -58 are standard pricing.
The manufacturer websites for both Wilsonart and Formica are very helpful in showing what finishes each laminate color comes in.
